Rosemary Letts - was born in Devon, England in 1953. Her household was violent and troubled; her father, Bill Letts, was a schizophrenic who constantly disciplined her mother, Daisy, her siblings and her. While Daisy had been pregnant with Rosemary, she had received electroconvulsive therapy as treatment for her severe depression. Growing up, Rosemary's father sexually abused she. Lawrence Sigmund Bittaker and Roy Lewis Norris are American serial killers and rapists known as the Tool Box Killers, who together committed the kidnap, rape, torture and murder of five teenage girls over a period of five months in southern California in 1979.
Described by FBI agent John Douglas as the most disturbing individual he has ever performed a criminal profile upon, Bittaker was sentenced to death for five murders on March 24, 1981 and is currently incarcerated upon death row at San Quentin State Prison. Norris accepted a plea bargain whereby he agreed to testify against Bittaker and was sentenced to life imprisonment on May 7, 1980, with possibility of parole after serving 30 years. He is currently incarcerated at Donovan State Prison.

Gary Leon Ridgway (born February 18, 1949) is an American serial killer known as the Green River Killer. He was initially convicted of 48 separate murders and later confessed to nearly twice that number. As part of his plea bargain, an additional conviction was added, bringing the total number of convictions to 49. He murdered numerous women and girls in Washington State during the 1980s and 1990s. Most of his victims were alleged to be prostitutes. The press gave him his nickname after the first five victims were found in the Green River; his identity was not known.[1] He strangled the women, usually with his arm but sometimes using ligatures. After strangling them, he would dump their bodies throughout forested and overgrown areas in King County, often returning to the dead bodies to have sexual intercourse with them.

He typically approached them in public places, feigning injury or disability, or impersonating an authority figure, before overpowering and assaulting them at more secluded locations. He sometimes revisited his secondary crime scenes for hours at a time, grooming and performing sexual acts with the decomposing corpses until putrefaction and destruction by wild animals made further interaction impossible. On a few occasions he simply broke into dwellings at night and bludgeoned his victims as they slept.

Initially incarcerated in Utah in 1975 for aggravated kidnapping and attempted criminal assault, Bundy became a suspect in a progressively longer list of unsolved homicides in multiple states. Facing murder charges in Colorado, he engineered two dramatic escapes and committed further assaults, including three murders, before his ultimate recapture in Florida in 1978. He received three death sentences in two separate trials for the Florida homicides.
Ted Bundy died in the electric chair at Raiford Prison in Starke, Florida, on January 24, 1989. Biographer Ann Rule described him as "a sadistic sociopath who took pleasure from another human's pain and the control he had over his victims, to the point of death, and even after." Born in 1940, in Kinmel Bay, in Conwy, Wales. Moore ran a theatre in north Wales, apparently fixating on Jason Voorhies from the F13 movie series. He murdered and mutilated 4 men in 1995, the bodies found near small rural towns.
Moore's first victim was Henry Roberts, 56, stabbed to death at his home in Anglesey in September 1995.
His next victim, Edward Carthy, 28, was stabbed and buried in a forest after meeting Moore in a gay bar.
Keith Randles, 49, a traffic safety manager, was similarly killed as he slept in his caravan at road works on the A5 in Anglesey in November 1995.
Mr Randles had begged to know why he was being attacked after Moore dragged him from his caravan and started stabbing him. Moore had replied: "For fun." Moore later told police there was "a certain enjoyment" in the killing.
The last man to die was Tony Davies, 40, a married father of two. He was stabbed at a beach near Abergele on the north Wales coast in December 1995.
The former cinema manager from Rhyl, who attacked more than 50 other men in what the judge at his murder trial described as "20 years of terror", received four life sentences. The Home Secretary later recommended that he was never released.
In July 2000 Serial killer Peter Moore lost his fight to win £160,000 damages from North Wales Police. He accused police of failing to protect his home following his arrest in 1995. But a district judge at Leeds Court - agreed the case should be struck out, on the grounds that Moore had no realistic chance of winning it at trial. He appeared in court flanked by heavy security and did not have legal representation.
In 1999, he won nearly £13,000 compensation from a couple he claimed had stolen contents of his home, including garden gnomes. Robert Black (born 21 April 1947) is a Scottish serial killer convicted of the kidnapping and murder of four girls between the ages of 5 and 11, between 1981 and 1986 in the United Kingdom. He was convicted of sexually assaulting one of the girls, and of raping the other three. Black was also convicted of the kidnapping of a fifth girl, and the attempted kidnapping of a sixth.
Black is also suspected of unsolved child murders in the United Kingdom, dating back to 1969 and others in the 1970s, throughout Europe. At this time, Black moved back to Kinlochleven, where he was raised. He took a room with a couple who had a seven-year-old daughter. As before, Black molested the girl. This time, when the sexual abuse was discovered, police were notified. Black was sentenced to a year of borstal training at Polmont.
On his release, Black left Scotland and moved to London. In London, Black found work as a swimming pool attendant, and would sometimes go underneath the pool, remove the lights and watch young girls as they swam. Soon, a young girl reported that Black had touched her, and although no official charges were brought, Black lost his job.[6]
While Black lived in London he spent a lot of time in pubs playing darts. He became a reasonably good player, and a well-known face on the amateur darts circuit. Darts world champion Eric Bristow knew Black vaguely during this time, remembering him as a "loner" who never seemed to have a girlfriend. In 1976, Black began working as a van driver. It was while working as a driver that he developed a thorough knowledge of some of the United Kingdom's roads, particularly its minor roads.
Black has been considered as a suspect by police in the unsolved murder or disappearance of other girls, including the disappearance of April Fabb in April 1969, and the disappearance of Genette Tate in August 1978. He has been questioned about these cases, but prosecutors have said that there is insufficient evidence to charge Black.
Black was arrested on 14 July 1990, near Stow, Scotland. He was seen snatching a six-year-old girl off the street, and bundling her into his van. An alert member of the public called the police, who chased after the van and subsequently apprehended Black, when the van was recognised as he doubled back.
The policeman discovered that the child in the back of the van, tied up, gagged with tape and stuffed head-first into a sleeping bag was his daughter. She had been sexually assaulted. A search of Black's home revealed a large collection of child pornography.[13]
The following month, Black was convicted of abduction and was sentenced to life imprisonment.
Police suspected Black of the murders of Susan Maxwell, Caroline Hogg and Sarah Harper. They checked his petrol receipts and eventually charged Black with all three murders, in addition to the attempted kidnapping of a 15-year-old girl who had escaped from a man who had tried to drag her into a van in 1988.
On 13 April 1994, Black stood trial at Newcastle upon Tyne Moot Hall, and denied the charges. Having sifted through many thousands of petrol-station receipts, the prosecution was able to place him at all the scenes and show the similarities between the three killings, and the kidnap of the six-year-old girl who had been rescued. Juries are not usually allowed to know of a defendant's current or past convictions, but in this case the judge allowed it.
On 19 May, the jury found Black guilty on all counts, and he was sentenced to life imprisonment and told that he should serve at least 35 years. This would keep him behind bars until at least 2029, when he would be 82. On 16 December 2009, Black was charged with the murder of Jennifer Cardy. He was found guilty on 27 October 2011 and was given a further life sentence by Armagh Crown Court. On 8 December 2011, Black was told that he would be at least 89 years old before he would be considered for release.
Black was attacked in his Wakefield prison cell in July 1995 after being ambushed by two inmates. Convicted robber Andrew Wilson, 22, threw boiling water mixed with sugar over Black in an attempt to ‘rip his skin off’, then battered him with a table leg, while murderer Craig Hendley, 25, stabbed Black in the back and neck with a homemade knife. Hendley later told police "I'll kill the next nonce to come near me." A court subsequently heard that "Black was a particularly notorious prisoner because of the nature of the offences for which he was serving his sentence. Joshua Wade was, in many respects, the opposite of Mindy Schloss. In photos Schloss projects a calm confidence and friendliness. Wade appears to be nothing other than a thug who demands "respect," or, more precisely fear. Wade, who spent much of his adolescence in a juvenile detention center after a series of drug convictions, could best be described as a repeat loser. According to documents introduced into evidence by the prosecution, Wade "has demonstrated violent and aggressive behavior from on or about the age of 10 and continuing into his adult life, and between 2000 and 2007, has violently killed two women."
Wade's first brush with the law was at age 12. At 16 he was caught carrying a handgun, and by 19 he was an accused-but-acquitted felon. Unfortunately Wade's criminal career was only getting started. The next year, at age 20, Wade violently raped and murdered Della Brown, a 33 year-old Native American woman by bashing her head in with a rock. During the trial the coroner testified that Brown's skull was so damaged it resembled a "bag of ice." Brown's hair had either been cut or ripped out; and burnt matches littered the shed's floor near her body. Brown's body had been found by unsympathetic gawkers who paraded through the shed for days, lighting matches to see her battered corpse. No one called 911. Although initially Wade confessed to the murder, he soon recanted. His lawyer claimed that Wade had merely been trying to impress his associates. The jury was swayed by his defense, and Wade was acquitted of Della Brown's murder. He was, however, convicted of evidence tampering in the case.
After the acquittal, Wade, who has the unfortunate tendency to grandstand, stated, "Even though 12 people said I'm not guilty, everyone believes I am guilty....I just want to say thank you to my jury for being fair."
He added, "The only thing at all in this case that I'm sorry for is I did not call the police whenever I found that lady's body," clearly showing no remorse for the crime of which he had been convicted.
Wade managed to illegally obtain a handgun, a Glock .45 with a laser sight, despite his multiple felony convictions. Never one for subtlety, Wade took the gun home and proceeded to brandish it for his friends. He even took photographs of himself posing with the gun, the menacing red pinpoint of the laser sight resting on the wall. Edmund Emil “Big Ed” Kemper III (born December 18, 1948), also known as “The Co-ed Killer”, is an American serial killer and necrophile who was active in California in the early 1970s. He started his criminal life by murdering his grandparents when he was 15 years old. Kemper later killed and dismembered six female hitchhikers in the Santa Cruz area. He then murdered his mother and one of her friends before turning himself in to the authorities days later. Kemper is noted for his imposing physicality and high intelligence, standing 6 ft 9 inches (2.06 m), weighing over 300 pounds (140 kg), and having an IQ of 145.
Theodore Robert “Ted” Bundy (born Theodore Robert Cowell; November 24, 1946 — January 24, 1989) was an American serial killer, rapist, kidnapper, and necrophile who assaulted and murdered numerous young women and girls during the 1970s and possibly earlier. After more than a decade of denials, he confessed shortly before his execution to 30 homicides committed in seven states between 1974 and 1978; the true total remains unknown, and could be much higher.
Bundy was regarded as handsome and charismatic by his young female victims, traits he exploited in winning their trust. He typically approached them in public places, feigning an injury or disability, or impersonating an authority figure, before overpowering and assaulting them at a more secluded location. He sometimes revisited his secondary crime scenes for hours at a time, grooming and performing sexual acts with the decomposing corpses until putrefaction and destruction by wild animals made further interaction impossible. He decapitated at least 12 victims and kept some of the severed heads in his apartment for a period of time as mementos.
